The Recording Department is responsible for the recording of all Conveyance, Mortgage, and Miscellaneous documents relating to immovable property in St. Tammany Parish.
In this department, the public may record:

- Cancellations (Effective August 1, 2017, all Cancellations are recorded into the Public Records)

- Mortgages
- Powers of Attorneys
- Certified Civil & Criminal Judgments
- Miscellaneous Documents
- UCC filings (UCC filings may also be filed electronically through the Secretary of State)
